Interstate self-storage company SIA has snapped up a distribution and food production warehouse and showroom in Augustine Heights, Ipswich from owner-occupiers SNJ Properties, with plans to further develop the site internally.

The price remained confidential, however industry sources assumed between $9 million and $11 million.

Located at 27 Technology Drive, the 5,083sqm freestanding concrete tilt-panel building sits on a 7,000sqm site.

It offers excellent internal warehouse height, with accessibility via three roller doors, large number of onsite car parks, corporate office space over 2 levels as well as signage opportunities to the motorway.

The asset is ideally located in one of South-East Queensland’s key growth corridors and sits within the Springfield Land Corporation.

There is direct access to the Centenary Motorway’s providing excellent access to the Brisbane CBD.

Matt Richards, Toby Hundertmark and Lachlan Jacobs of Cushman & Wakefield sold the property off market and said one of the major benefits of this property is its appeal to self-storage given its favourable zoning to this use, not to mention its direct access to the Centenary Motorway, offering unparalleled connectivity to the Brisbane CBD.
