Herron Todd White has appointed John Gunthorpe to Director, Agribusiness across Victoria and Tasmania.

Gunthorpe recently returned from the UK, where he was Director of Valuation & Advisory Services at CBRE.

Having valued a range of assets across the agribusiness sector over the past seven years, Gunthorpe has developed specialisations in renewable energy and airport infrastructure assets.

Gunthorpe has considerable experience across Queensland and New South Wales after growing up within a stock and station agency family business in the northwest of NSW.

“Herron Todd White is highly respected within the industry as a professional market leader known for its good people, so I cannot wait to bring my knowledge and agribusiness valuation skills to help the HTW team continue to grow,” Gunthorpe said.

Herron Todd White’s National Head of Agribusiness Tim Lane said they were extremely pleased to have Gunthorpe join the Herron Todd White Agribusiness division.

“John’s professional experiences in the UK complement his Australian agribusiness valuation skills,” Lane said.

“His additional leadership attributes and technical skills are highly impressive and well suited to lead the 12-member agribusiness team in our Victoria and Tasmania market.

“John will also identify new talent, expand services, and support the delivery of quality property solutions and research for our clients.

“In conjunction with the other State Rural Directors, I look forward to working closely with John to execute the strategy for our Agribusiness division.”
