KordaMentha has expanded its Sydney Real Estate team by appointing Tony Massaro, Paul McNamara, and Nicholas Lucas to the firm’s Real Estate practice.

The move is in line with the company’s strategy to enhance its development and investment capabilities in New South Wales and meet the increasing demands of its clients and investors across Australia.

This complements the already established foundations in the Melbourne and Brisbane offices.

Massaro (pictured centre), who led the Real Estate Advisory team in Sydney for PwC Australia, has been appointed as a Partner to spearhead this expansion.

Joining him are McNamara (pictured right), who has been appointed as a Director, and Lucas (pictured left) as an Associate Director.

Tom Davis, the national head of KordaMentha Real Estate, said that the recruitment of the trio adds significant depth to the Real Estate operation.

“Tony, Paul and Nicholas all bring invaluable experience across real estate, including specialist knowledge across the aged care and retirement real estate industry, and this will certainly boost KordaMentha’s already strong capabilities,” Davis said.

“Their ability to open doors with the relationships and networks they have formed will allow our firm to continue to improve our offering to our ever-growing client and investor base and expand our development and investment capability.”

With more than 20 years of experience leading and advising public and private sector organisations on property projects, Massaro co-founded the PwC Real Estate Advisory practice.

He has a diverse range of experience across various industry sectors, including retirement, aged care, residential, commercial office, and industrial.

McNamara spent eight years in the PwC Real Estate Advisory team, with experience spanning project management, development management, capital transaction management, and commercial advisory across multiple real estate asset classes.

Meanwhile, Lucas spent five years at PwC managing direct real estate transactions and corporate real estate M&A, providing strategic advice to private, institutional, and government clients regarding their property portfolios.

KordaMentha’s move to expand its Real Estate team will allow the firm to improve its offering to its growing client and investor base.

Additionally, it will enhance KordaMentha’s development and investment capability, as the team continues to establish its presence across Australia.
