Australian infrastructure advisory and project management firms RP Infrastructure and Ranbury Management Group are merging to create a combined business with more than 300 employees across five offices spanning the eastern seaboard.
Ranbury is a specialist advisory, project management and cost engineering firm with a team of more than 140 people working mainly on Queensland projects within the transport, property, buildings, resources and utilities sectors, while RP Infrastructure’s operations are predominantly focused on New South Wales and Victoria.
RP Infrastructure CEO David Gundy will lead the combined group with Ranbury’s Managing Director, Brett Magnussen, becoming the company’s National Director of Project Delivery Services.
RP Infrastructure’s Sam Cook will head up Advisory services nationally.
“This is a merger of complementary advisory and project management firms that will allow us to provide clients with a deeper and broader range of project services, as well as providing further career development opportunities for our team,” Gundy said.
“The merger will expand our national footprint which enables us to capitalise on Australia’s large pipeline of infrastructure projects, particularly in Queensland. With the 2032 Brisbane Olympics and the state’s investment in areas such as transport, water, energy, sport and health infrastructure, our teams will be able to contribute to many exciting project opportunities over the next decade.
“Joining forces with Ranbury is the next important step to achieving our vision to be the premier provider of advisory and project management services throughout our region.”
Ranbury Managing Director Brett Magnussen said “the merger expands our service capabilities and expertise in key sectors and grows our operations throughout New South Wales and Victoria.
“It provides an opportunity to become a national consultancy with extensive depth and capability across the eastern seaboard.
“By joining with RP Infrastructure, we can provide our teams with increased opportunities to work on a larger variety of projects and additional resources to support their career development.
“Collectively, we offer clients an expanded team of specialists and a superior range of services which will allow us to compete for some extraordinary projects.”
