Brisbane Isuzu has purchased a 4.26ha site in the Yatala Enterprise Area in Stapylton on the Gold Coast for $16.85 million.
The 183 Burnside Road site, which had a 3,993sqm building, was located within a short drive to the M1 Motorway and was located mid-way between Queensland’s largest consumer markets, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The Yatala Enterprise Area is one of the fastest growing industrial precincts in southeast Queensland.
Colliers Queensland agents David Brisk and Nick Evans sold the property.
Colliers Queensland Director of Industrial David Brisk said Brisbane Isuzu were drawn to this location due to the strong population growth and depth of customer demand from the booming industrial precinct.
“There was significant interest in the site as it was in a great position with the opportunity for future expansion,” Brisk said.
“This acquisition further increases Brisbane Isuzu’s service offering across Southeast Queensland. We look forward to watching the property transform and be repurposed into a state of the art truck sales and service facility.
Colliers Queensland has transacted over $250 million of industrial assets in the Yatala Enterprise Area in the last two years.
Colliers Queensland Director of Industrial Nick Evans said the site was approved for up to 16,211sqm of additional gross floor area, offering the purchaser an opportunity to transform the site.
“Sites in this area are always in demand due to the location and Yatala Enterprise Area being home to well-known occupiers including ALDI, Caterpillar, Woolworths, Australia Post, Stihl, JELD-WEN, Harvey Norman and Bidfood,” Evans added.
