Developer Aria Property has lodged plans for a new 30-storey tower in the heart of South Brisbane following the completion of The Standard development.
The proposed development has been designed by architects Woods Bagot and will comprise one, two, three and four-bedroom units.
The development is located on Cordelia Street near the iconic Fish Lane and will feature a rooftop pool, various amenity rooms, a rooftop sky terrace, and dining and lounging areas.
The developer drew inspiration from the circular motif of its sister tower, The Standard, creating a proportioned form with a three-storey crown rising above.
The new project will continue Aria Property’s streak of green walls, sleeving the building’s podium façade, with brick finishes throughout the ground plane referencing South Brisbane’s rich character and heritage.
Throughout the lobby, an array of work-from-home spaces and private offices will be available for residents, along with lush landscaping and outdoor seating and lounging areas.
Aria Property Development Manager Michael Hurley said the project has been designed to fit in with the existing style and feel of the surrounding streetscapes, including Fish Lane which Aria Property has helped revitalise and re-develop along with Brisbane City Council, since 2014.
“Our vision was to continue to support and invest in the area, building on our long-term relationships and establishing new connections within the community. We’re excited to contribute to its future growth and opportunities,” said Hurley.
Aria Property is an Australian property developer, with a portfolio of work that spans across the residential, retail and commercial property sectors.
